Easily translate your voicemail messages so maintenance and residents can understand each other.
How to translate your incoming voicemails
All messages left in Notify are transcribed, in any language. Those transcriptions will be emailed to you and will also live inside Notify. To translate that email message into your preferred language, see below for instructions.
iPhone
You can select any text to translate in the Mail app.
- Select the text you want to translate – tap and hold, then move the selector bars to select the text
- Tap Translate. If you don’t see Translate, tap > to see more options.
- Below the text translation, choose any of the following:
- Copy Translation: Copy and paste the translation somewhere else, such as a different app.
- Change Language: Choose any of the supported languages for the original text and the translation.
- Add to Favorites: Add the translation to a list of favorites.
- Open in Translate: Do more with the translation in the Translate app.
- Listen to Original Text: Tap more, then tap to listen to the original text.
- Listen to Translated Text: Tap to listen to the translated text.
ANDROID
How to Enable Tap to Translate on Android
First, make sure your Google Translate app is updated to the latest version. Simply visit the Play Store, search for Google Translate, and make sure you don't see an Update prompt.
Next, open the Google Translate app. Tap the icon in the top right to access your Settings. Then on the resulting menu, select the Tap to Translate. Turn on Use Tap to Translate.
- Select the text you want to translate – tap and hold, then move the selector bars to select the text
- Tap Translate. If you don’t see Translate, tap ••• for more options.
- On the translate screen, choose any of the following:
- Copy and paste the original or translated text
- Listen to the original or translated text
